Zen Blessed Incense - Made by the Kanzeonji
Lighting up incense has been used for centuries for rituals to invoke an atmospere
of prayer towards a goal as well as for an offering. Incense is used to set the
mood during yoga classes and zazen meditation at Kanzeonji.
These natural incense sticks are individually hand-rolled from natural oils by
monks and students in the lotus position who have made it as a form of meditation
in action. Each stick lasts about one hour.
